LiDAR Drones for Fire Prevention
Просмотров 6785 лет назад
LiDAR data captured by drones can be used by engineers to determine failing asset, potential vegetation issues, and prevent problems before they occur. With our data, utilities can be better prepared to protect their communities. For more information: bit.ly/2Tu0akf
California Fire Season Utility Inspections
Просмотров 1615 лет назад
Due to the severity of this year's fire season, Flight Evolved has deployed survey technology to inspect power lines in an effort to identify problematic conductors that require removal from service. The DJI Z30 is a powerful tool which allows for safe inspections of splices and other wire connectors that pose as potential failure points. For more information: bit.ly/2At32pT
Vegetation Management Solutions
Просмотров 2395 лет назад
Flight Evolved acquisition teams deploy UAV and helicopter LiDAR platforms to acquire data for electric utility companies to create vegetation management solutions. This improves efficiency over traditional identification methods during the assignment of ground crews and provides end users accurate clearance analysis, grow-in, and fall-in models.

For those who asked, This software is Quick Terrian modeller. They suppose to show it.
What program is this in?
The motors are unavailable in amazon
Great video, I wonder if Lidar would scan through fog, thus depicting the terrain ahead
How do you cope with the BLK 360's minimum 600 mm range in confined spaces?
hello which program did you use?
I also would like to know what program they are using.
lol that's pretty funny.
Yup! Not sneaking around anywhere with this setup. But, it does a great job of burning calories and collecting data.
He made a mistake. He put the receiver on the wrong side of the frame, the arms can not be folded because the receiver is in the way. Better position the receiver (and other electronics) in front or in the back of the frame.
Unless the author of the film has no intention of folding the arms - which is also possible;)
It seems like the way you built the quad, it is no longer foldable :)
Outstanding video! Thank you so much!
i need demo for this product can i here in india gurgaon contact no. 9871880058
Donde puedo comprar un drone como este?
Very nice option, but how do you convert a "normal" aerial photo without coordinate information into a orthomosaic TIFF?
Hi Robin - it wouldn't be a perfect solution, but you could always "rectify" an image to match your LiDAR. Rectification adds geoinformation to your non geotagged or ortho image.
I just purchased this frame. I had the Max 4 before. Not too bad. Broke one inside arm mount. The Max 4 design, not too good in a crash. I like how the arms on this frame go all the way towards the centre. :D
That's a great video guys!
Will 4*380kv motors can lift 10kg plz say
At time 2:34, where did those orange things go? They magically disappeared. They re-appear 11:15
Are the materials PBR?
check out my sport tell what you think.
could you help me wiring the landing gear controller? i do not the board's polarity to the receiver.
if your not going to talk you should think about adding music cool drone tho
hello nice video except for skipping the part I was waiting for,,,wiring up the retracts
J Garcia I can make one if you need to view it.
that would be awesome!
J Garcia ok bud stay pending.. I will make a video. Sub to stay in the loop.
Thanks for the video! I'm curious about extending the wires from the ESC to the battery (vs. extending the wires from the ESC to the motor). The conventional wisdom (e.g., fpvlab.com/forums/showthread.php?33118-Extend-ESC-power-leads-OR-to-extend-the-motor-to-esc-leads-that-is-the-question!) seems to be that it's better to add length on the motor side of the ESC because the increased inductance of the longer wires on the power side can cause operational issues for the ESC. Is this something you worry about for the length of the wires you added on the 650?
Hello! Nice video, but i would like to know what battery size and cell count was used to get the 25mins stated in the description. Thanks for the help!!!!
I like the video! ! So for a 3D mapping will I need to follow that 3 steps also like it was described in this article? itechcraft.com/aerophotography/
I really like the way you did this video, this will help me greatly in my next build. Thanks!
Glad to hear it! Good luck on the build!
Great footage. Montana is beautiful.
Great video, when you say you used Pix4D for the renders, you just mean for the 3d contours right? I see moving vehicles etc, was this live video feed? I would like to know more about your process. Thanks!
Incredible wise not to do things like that, I'm from Costa Rica, we could make some kind of alliance, win win? I'm a Geographer and have a Iris + and Xiaomi Yi, can ahcer something with this team: Greetings.
That's some great stuff. What software are you using?
+jhopiv Thanks! We use Final Cut for our editing. The 3D stuff is done in Pix4d for renders.
Excellent Reel! Keep up the great shots.
+InFlight Imaging Thanks guys! Was a blast to shoot!
Hi, Great vid! I'm building a similar setup. Wat are the gains that you use? Greets.
Does the Battery offer enough amperage to safely operate the build, i noticed it is only 10C.
+aapeltekian The increased capacity (10,000mAh) meant that we could go with the smaller 10c and still provide enough capacity to power our quad. It provides better capacity than a similar sized 20c LiPo.
Hi, nice video. Do you recommend this frame? I still don't know which motors should I use, but I think I'll go with the ones you used since they seem to be really efficient.
+Flight Evolved Thank you very much! Do you like the motors you used?
+Flight Evolved Thank you very much for your support! I'm going to build this quad in the next few months (I currently own a f450 style quad but I'm not happy with flight times and payload capability). I hope to get at least 16 minutes with 5Ah 6s batteries.
+AccuRC Channel Sorry! All our comments seem to have been deleted. But yes it is a fantastic frame. It's great having retractable landing gear, especially for filming and doing utility work. The motors are great too - slow spinning and high torque, with the bigger props leads to great flight times.
+Flight Evolved I saw your last video and it's amazing! Did you use this quad? Did you manage to fold its arm for transport? (I read that many people had to use an external pdb to make arms fold). Sorry if I bother you but I don't want to waste money. Thanks :)
+AccuRC Channel In our case, we used the Tarot PDB. As you stated, to effectively fold the arms you would want to use an external PDB. Even so, we were moving to so many locations on this shoot that breaking our drone down wasn't an option!! :P
please naza gain setup? time flight?
so cool!
